HAZARD - submerged Pillar (2026)

SUBMERGED HAZARD 
Sailors: be warned of a new hazard (2026) and take care manoeuvring in its vicinity, especially when racing.

Recently. A bollard/Pillar has toppled and is perched at an angle.

This is SUBMERGED at High Tide.

A) directly on the path between HUB  and VERON Marks, (which features in many of the club courses.

B) almost inline with the West-shore of the L

MARKING:

A (temporary) flag has been attached by the boatman.

The executive are looking for a more permanent marking; or possible removal by Dublin Port, who mid-season 2025 removed a simlar fallen pillar amongst the mooring.
