Santa Series Sailing - result and Final Race & Prize Giving (17th December)

The Santa Series will conclude this Sunday. We've had a great turnout in both the General and Topper classes - 27 boats.

Why not come along to the club to partake in the last race of the year, or watch the sailing from the wall?

Frst Gun: 11:00

Prize-giving for Santa Series will occur in the clubhouse after sailing.

- Joey McGauran (Laser4.7) -&- Oisin O'Connor (Laser Standard) have shown to be great competitors with only 1 point separating them for overall 1st place.

- Christian Lorenz currently sits at 3rd in his newly acquired IDRA14, leads a resurgent IDRA fleet - but can he be challenged?

- 3rd & 4th place is still in contention between 5 boats, points in the previous races were awarded with seconds apart on corrected-time.

- All is to play for, one good tack or a poor mark rounding will make a difference to this years final results.

Topper class: http://www.cybc.ie/series/1325- great enthusiasm has been shown by the juniors in this series.- Hugh Finnegan has shown great form and looks well positioned to be the Series Champion

- Series positions for 2nd and 3rd are all to play for, for the rest of the fleet with 5 boats within 1 point of each other.
