Octopus E wins this year's E-Boat National Championships

Well done to all who took part in this year's E-boat National Championships. Nine boats took to the water on Saturday including three very welcome competitors from Skerries. Octopus E skippered by Pat O'Neill was the overall winner, securing firsts in three of the five races. Aoife skippered by Barry Linnane came second and Enchantress skippered by Findlay McDonald came third. Huge thanks to our Race Officer Ian Sargent, assisted by Becky and the team; to rescue led by Claire Meany; and to Anne and Sue for the on-shore catering.
