"Maritime Dublin From Old Photographs" by Cormac F. Lowth
Cormac will be conducting a tour of the Dublin and adjacent coastlines looking at a wealth of things, people, places and historical events of maritime interest. He will be showing a large amount of very old, rare and interesting photographic images.
There will be a collection in aid of the RNLI
Cormac Lowth is a retired builder who has served on the councils of the Maratime Institute of Ireland and the Old Dublin Society. He is also a member of the Irish Maritime Archaeological Society and the Historical Diving Society. He is presently a committee member of the Dun Laoghaire Borough Historical Society. Cormac grew up in Ringsend , has spent several years at sea on merchant ships and has been a diver for many years. He has written many articles of historical and travel interest for several diving and historical magazines and journals.
